BDTH KADUNA

The department provides radiological services to the teeming populace of Kaduna state and the neighbouring States of Nigeria.
These services cover both diagnostic and some non-vascular Image guided interventions, using modern equipment such as conventional X-ray, routine Ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and Vascular Ultrasound Angiology Services. Other services recently introduced are the clinical oncology services.

1. The department also receives and train both undergraduate and postgraduate students from college of medicine, Kaduna state university (KASU) and other institutions within and outside Nigeria.


2. The department of Radiology is the research hub of the college of medicine,(KASU). It has research links and collaborations with international reknown institutions. The department is currently anchoring the Transcranial Doppler (TCD) ultrasound aspect of the Stroke Prevention in Nigeria (SPRING) research project, in collaboration with the Vander bilt university, USA.

• Mondays – Doppler, General Ultrasound.


• Tuesdays – General Ultrasound. MRI, CT.


• Wednesdays – Obstetrics Ultrasound.


• Thursdays – Doppler MRI , CT.


• Fridays – General Ultrasound.
